Chief Compliance Officer
Alan J. Fisher is the Chief Compliance Officer of D&L Oil and Gas and is the principal of the Alan J. Fisher, P.A. law firm and the Fisher Advisory Group with offices in Deerfield Beach, and Miami, Florida. He previously served as counsel to the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for the Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach divisions of the Southern District of Florida, encompassing Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Highlands, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties. Mr. Fisher also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Geraldine Mund, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge emeritus, U.S Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. He has focused his practice in the areas of Bankruptcy and Debtor/Creditor law since 1988, representing Chapter 7 and 11 trustees, debtors and creditors in bankruptcy actions, and bankruptcy litigation. He has also represented buyers and sellers in foreclosure and real estate workouts. In addition, he has represented and successfully modified the mortgages of scores of mortgage holders. Mr. Fisher has lectured on bankruptcy issues to the National Association of Chapter Thirteen Trustees, the Annual Meeting of The Florida Bar, the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Broward Lawyers Care, the National Business Institute, and before business and legal professionals. Mr. Fisher is an active investor in Tikun Olam Global, LLC which cultivates, harvests, extracts, processes, packages and distributes medical marijuana products in the States of Washington, California, Nevada, Delaware, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Previously, he was a managing member of Peter Coppola Beauty, LLC, a manufacturer and seller of hair care products in the professional market throughout North America and was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Non-Invasive Solutions, Inc., which developed and held a portfolio of patents in the area of nanotechnology. In addition, Mr. Fisher was an owner and assisted in the development of a company which bought and collected debt, Premium Asset Recovery Corporation (“PARC”). PARC was eventually sold to Asset Acceptance Corporation with investors receiving a return of 15 times their investment after 4 years. Furthermore, Mr. Fisher was an owner and board member of U.S. Development Technologies and Protein Delivery Solutions, which undertook research, analysis and development of high technology and biotechnology products, most recently sublingual delivery of large molecule proteins. Prior to his legal career Mr. Fisher managed restaurants for the then privately-held TGIFriday’s Corporation. He also managed and set up the Texas commissary operations for Orange County, California-based Spires Restaurants. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the State Bar of California, American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, National Association of Chapter Thirteen Trustees, and the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Fisher earned his J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
